the interview I have taken notes from Saturday reasonably well and it typed again. Cameras were strictly verot or similar. (From notes no one has said anything.)
Most of the questions were not as interesting, but a few already. ^ ^ The I then translated into English.

Leipzig Book Fair Interview with Matsuri Hino 14/03/2009
15-16 Clock Matsuri Hino
: "Good day, I'm Matsuri Hino. Konichiwa. "
first They are now for the first time in Germany. What do they here?
is my first time in Germany. I like it here. The city and the houses are very beautiful. I feel very comfortable [= well].
I was in some bookstores, which have me very much.
second How they originally became mangaka. How did that arise?
I have a competition of Hakusensha hung in there and got a price and has since the beginning.
third They live on Hokaido. Does this affect the work with the publisher?
had with [the] editor I have no problem. Everything is done by phone. Sometimes I have problems because of the deadline.
(Then there is sometimes live well in Hokaido?)
For a manga, it's awful not being able to meet the deadline.
4th What is a normal working day, if there is it?
For about three years, it is so, [I] except for the time in which I lay in the tub, something eat or sleep, I always think of the work.
5th Is it always the same work or is it different?
for me is simply important to the delivery deadline to meet .
6th Is it so that they then jump in the bath to write down the idea?
Of course you can not write down in the bathtub, dare the paper. I try to keep in mind, and afterwards to write down.
7th How do you think when you work? If then the images in my head?
While I do preliminary sketches, I have now and again the problem is that I do not get any further with my story. Since I will lose the confidence, but when I think of my fans again.
8th Are there any other influences? Music, for example?
Yes, there are influences. Music from Vampire Knight, for example. I hear otherwise different styles of music, but it's true that I have a song ever Goodbye.
If there is a song I listen to it 24 hours, this can happen.
Sometimes, even a sound or a noise ... [Eg TV]
9th If they now may once again choose a job, what would it be?
Frankly, I got after graduating from my university some promise. In a furniture company or a life insurance policy. At that time it was sure that I'm in a company, but the desire was stronger to be mangaka.
10th If they had to choose between furniture company and Life insurance, for which they would choose today?
I could not choose, so I'm mangaka. Even if I had now become not a mangaka, I wanted to be something where I make things.
11th Read manga and privately. What were their favorite manga or anime?
I ch that although many, but ...
As for the Shonen Manga One Piece. What Shojo manga is concerned, I read a manga from LaLa, that is, Ouran High School Host Club.

Harry Potter and Pirates of the Caribbean
- Are there any influences for the work?
extent that I see something of conversation [but not that it happens in the story].

The works I've read [Unintelligible / text missing] ... but I find the work done fairly simple, so that makes even his imagination [= used / use must (?)].

The author of One Piece and Kasehiro mr Shinada Kasihiko call I can.
[not guarantee the accuracy of the authors!]
15th What is so fascinating on the work of mangaka?
For me it is a big attraction that you can be in a world with which one can work with his imagination. I give myself every day of my world, so it can happen that I forget the reality. Therefore, it can happen that I exclude myself from the society feel. I have to work every day, no matter how I feel.
16th How is the feeling when you get invited to those shows? I am
ch me a lot when I see the fans.
17th How do you like the Leipzig trade fair?

18th If they can imagine that there is such a success [Vampire Knight]?
It was impossible to believe that there is such a Success is .
19th As they see it? If they get fan mail?
Actually this is for me no matter whether or not a work is successful or. For me it's more important that we like. If I imagine, while I work, that someone enjoys my work, I can work relaxed.
20th Why have they had deliberately chosen vampires?
I have selected as well as magic as the theme. Vampire was one of the most popular theme [for me (?)].
21st Why vampires are so popular? What is the particular fascination with vampires?
It is so that you have general ideas of vampires. But my idea is different from the normal. In addition I have combined human and animal parts. Reason and intelligence, as the people and [the] instinct, like animals.
22nd Vampire Knight since they have much to do. Will life heavily influenced them or find them more free time?
Compared to the past, I have much less free time. I have little time to shop. [She said that she ordered on the Internet or catalogs.]

[I guess she thinks that the mysterious new vampire girl, which is supposed to come to the school.]
[I guess she means that new vampire girl, Which Was Mentioned in an interview in June 2008.]
27th How do they do when they develop a story?
By nature, I develop the story. The story can also develop through banal statements. Of that I go out. If I really do not can develop story, then I put a white paper in front of me and is waiting until the story.
